Hello everyone,

I was recently informed by members of 4sailors.com that our site was hit by a small wave of losers who decided to post pornographic images, and links to pornographic websites. In trying to keep the website fully accessible, and more user friendly to the public and to members, I had the security set to a lower than usual level on the site - well thanks to the scum that does exist in our society, I have had to tighten down the site. If you have problems logging in or a freind can't seem to setup a new account, please contact me for help - I apologize for the issue, and wish I could do something more...Please notify me if you see any more of this kind of activity and I will address it ASAP. The "members" who posted the links and images have been banned from the website, and their IP adressess banned as well...I can't guarantee they will not try to work around my efforts. But I will continue to work against theirs.

Thanks for notifying me of the situation - Many of you did, and I appreciate that.

Thank you so very much, Robert.  I found those postings very disrespectful and hurtful!

Your vigilence and dedication to maintaining the high quality of this site is very much valued.  Please know that your efforts and energy, which must take so much time (!) is very much appreciated by all of us who find this site a source of comfort and a vehicle for communication.

We each will forevermore continue to miss our special loved ones very much...  remembering happy memories is an important element in our healing process.  The scars will always be deep and present...  but, speaking for ME, I am grateful to be currently at a place that I can spend more energy celebrating Christine, vs. feeling sorry for "me"...

Those of us who knew and cared about one or more of the "4 sailors"...  share a very unwelcome bond.  Our "Missing Sailors" were each unique and special individuals and are missed by many!

Again, Robert, THANK YOU! for all of your work on this very special site!

Thanks Robert.  What a shame.  But we have connected with so many friends that we never would have found without this site, thanks.
