Everyday, I pray that I will awake to the phone ringing and someone on the other end will tell me they found them, and that they are OK.

I just wanted to say to Diana, Brandy, and John That I thank you for spending time with me during the vigil and having me back to your place afterwards. It was really comforting to hang out with friends I havent seen in a few years and also to have you bring me into your life even if for only one night. I hadn't seen you folks since the wedding and it was really nice getting reaquainted with you. I wish it was for other circumstances. Trey has told me a million stories about all of you many times and we have had some good laughs. At times I felt like I knew your family quite well.

I hope to stay in touch with all of you and look forward to seeing you again soon.

I recently read the poem that Brandy posted and it really struck me as such the way Trey is. Trey is a great friend to me and my husband Brian. I always have always thought of Trey as such a unique individual. So intelligent, funny, and has such great stories from his experiences. I remember Brian and I went to an Indian restaurant in Newport with Trey and some other people and we ordered some wonderful Indian food. Trey of course had lived in India, and he was giving the entire table an education on India. When our food arrived- rice with chicken, veggies and a spicy sauce, Trey dug in with his hand. The entire table stopped and laughed...he said this is the way they do it in India and insisted we should all not use our utensils!

Brian and I both are praying for Trey's return and Trey the crew each of their family members are in our thoughts daily.

I too have eaten Indian food with Trey before and it is an educational and quite hysterical experience.  Spending four season's on Madeleine with Trey and the rest of our disfunctional yet tight knit clan were some of the best moments of my life.  I remember a great deal of conversations about the variety of religions and beliefs on this earth...my Treyman I have prayed to every God out there just to cover all the bases for the safe return of you and your crew.  To all of their families my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I want to let Lynn, Rhiannon's mom, know how much her phone call the other night meant to me. It's hard to know what to say at a time like this. I guess just listening and catching up on things is comforting. All my thoughts are with you and Mike. Call anytime, for anything.

Mom and Dad Borisoff,

You were greatly missed at the Lake this past weekend. We rung in summer per tradition, minus the canoe, Fester, and awesome marshmallow sticks. The upside to that was no one hit me with a flaming marshmallow.  Wink

Love and miss you much!

We just wanted to let the families know that we are thinking of all of you. It is amazing to read the stories that many have shared here. We hope you find comfort in knowing that your loved ones touched the lives of so many others and gave them the gift of many happy memories.
We wish you peace and courage - Kathy & Percy

Hello to everyone who regularly visits this site and helps to continue the well wishes and inspiring love for the lost ones of the 4 sailors. I am ever grateful to be among the Borisoff family, as if any of you knew my dad, Hank, you would remember what a character he was. I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Mike or his lovely wife or daughter, but dad spoke highly of their visit here in Oregon in years past.

It was Hank's wife, Carol, who first mentioned to me the loss of the boat and its crew over a year ago. I kept hoping and thinking that most are eventually found at sea, and with today's technology and experienced ocean coast guard members, the missing would reappear. It saddens my heart to begin to imagine the pain of the losses, and I would appreciate you knowing that you will be in my prayers for always.

Hank and Ruth Borisoff also had a son, Byron, my older brother, who now resides in Portland, Oregon. As for me, I live in Eugene, Oregon, Ruth is remarried, lives in Pismo Beach, California.

If anyone would like to contact me, my e-mail address is lifesaride45@yahoo.com  (Lifes a Ride because I ride a motorcycle and horses:)

Thank you for accepting my request to post on this site, God Bless. Karen Ann Borisoff
